Polystyrene plastic is being used as packaging material in many fields, and it is one of the most important "White Pollutants". Polypropylene plastic is widely used in many fields too. In this paper the technology of particleboard made from wood particle and recycled polystyrene plastic and polypropylene plastic as the modifying material were studied. The results show that the density of the board is the main factor and have significant effect on all the properties of the wood-plastic composite, the plastic content have a significant effect on the TS of the board and have a minor effect on the IB and MOR, the increasing of pressing time can improve the properties of the board, the press temperature have a significant effect on the wet IB and 2h TS.By means of single factor test method, the detailed study was made on the effect of the press temperature, water content of wood particle and resin content with the properties of composite. The result shows that the properties have no significant difference when the WC of wood particle changing from 4% to 20%. The composite have a good properties when the press temperature was 145C, resin content is important factor on the properties of the composite. In this paper the rational composite-manufacturing conditions were obtained.In this paper the preliminary study was made on the effect of the press temperature, water content of wood particle and resin content with the properties of composite made from recycled polypropylene plastic and wood particle.
