With the development of livestock husbandry in our country, the animalmanure produced has become an dramatic source of environmentpollution. Treating 1iquid manure with anaerobic digestion technology notonly reduce the potential pollution, but a1so provides both the energy sourceof biogas and the organic fertilizer which is effective and harmless.With low temperature in the north areas of China, the possib1ity ofdigesting manure quickly and giving high rate of biogas production in a shorttime, l ies on designing sui tab1e anaerobic manure digestion techno1ogysystematical ly and applying advanced and economic engeering equipment.ln this paper we have conducted the thermodynamic ana1ysis for alarge--scale biogas fermentation engeering system of Beijing cattle farm. Theresults show that the technology of burning biogas in boi1er in order togenerate hot water to heat digester is less effective in energy uti1izationand the effluent without recycled will waste large proportion of energy. 0nthe basis of this analysis, considering the condition of the north areas ofChina we designed the biogas fermentation technology which is appliable inHeilongjiang province. It include the technology of prehandling ofmanure, burning biogas mixed with diesel oi l to generate power, using hot waterheated by engine to warm up the digester, recyc1ing of effluent and cyclica1lyand mixing of slurry. It solved the prob1ems of how to hold the digestertemperature and how to warm up the digester with economic heat resource withthe maxmium utiIization coefficient of biogas energy.Wi th feasibi l ity assessment of 300In 3 cattle manure biogas fermentationproject which adopt the technology mentioned above, we draw the conc1usion thatthe technology of animal manure handling system is rational.
