Zeolites are important catalysts,absorbents and ion-exchangers and were usually synthesized by hydrothermal crystallization ,in which,there are some disadvantages such as high cost,low productivity and severely pollution For ten years,our group have been inventing series special methods based on the solid transformation mechanism and have successfully synthesized high-silicate zeolites (ZSM-5/ZSM-35/mordenaite). The low-silicate ones such as A,X,Y zeolites using these methods have not been reported .Low-silicate zeolite (A,X,Y) are firstly synthesized in trace water system and dry powder system using coal gangue and fly ash as source.It provides strong evidences for solid phase transformation mechanism and is useful for utilizing these industry offscume.The sample are characterized by XRD,SEM and IR.During the synthesis of some zeolites we added solid fertilizer and firstly obtained control-released fertilizer .It also proves the solid phase transformation mechanism. The control-released process of the sample are detected by IR.
