In order to resolve the technological problem in the application of the finishing, the fractal theory is used in the research on simulating the movement of the grinder in the finishing.On the basis of generalizing the fractal theory, Euclid geometry mould and the discentral barrel finishing, L-System and the fractal characteristics of the grinder movement is analyzed. In the finishing, The movement of the grinder is irregular and uninterrupted but non-differential, it has fine structure and the statistical self-comparability.Based on this, the math modal of simulating the grinder movement is constituted in two instances: the analysis of pure classical mechanics not considering the fractal characteristics; importing the L-System and formatting the parameter (the reciprocity among the grinder), carrying out the dynamic simulation of the single grinder and the whole grinder in the finishing based on the VC under the situation of considering multi parameters. The kinetic state in the result is essential consistent compare to the film of the high speed photograph.So the research on the simulation of the finishing grinder based on the L-System of fractal mould has the active effect on instructing the production.
