There is plenty of casing failure in petroleum tube of oil wells and injection wells, after oil fields have been exploited for certain time either in our native land or abroad land. Daqing oil fields have been exploited for thirty eight years, the casing failure in petroleum tube is becoming more and more serious. In 1986, more than 500 wells casing failure took place, which was the first peak. And in 1998, more than 600 wells casing failure took place, which was the second peak. Now, in sum, there are over 5000 wells of casing failure. Obviously, above bad condition is very disadvantageous to oil exploitation normally and steadily. In order to develop oil exploitation for a long time, the problm of casing failure in petroleum tube of oil wells and injection wells, must be solved thoroughly as quickly as possible.For the purpose of high production and efficiency, more and more strengthening methods of oil exploitation has been adopted for many years, for example high pressure injection, chapping, acidification and so on. Distinct economic benefits have been achieved for the present, while at the same time, the sleeving condition is so worse that erosion, leakage, distortion, collapsing, etc appears continuously. A lot of theoretical analysis and experimental research has been proceeded by technicians and experts native and aboard. Though some results have been achieved, research is still required to keep on in depth because of the complicacy and diversity of corresponding factor. Hereon, the mechanism of the casing failure in petroleum tube is analyzed and simulated relatively in the round by means of finite element method in the paper.Taking into account mostly the pressure variation and nonuniformity of injection factor in oil field, the mechanism of the casing failure in petroleum tube is analyzed and simulated in theory principally. In detail, after finite element mechanics model of sleeving with hole is built paying respect to water pressure, analysis and calculaion is done, then result is obtained to analyze the mechanism of casing failure in petroleum tube, which has certain theoretical significance and reference value to farther research against casing failure.
