With the development of the machine building industry, mould technology has developed rapidly both in our country and in foreign countries, mould products has been applied in more and more industries, and the demand to the cost performance of the products has also been more and more highly. Meanwhile, because of the advancement of science and technology and the fiercer market competition, organizing production according to orders has been the must trend in the mould industry. Customers have been more and more reasonable. The product line grew and the production amount of any specific product decreased. As a result, the pressure to the designing and preparation work has been heavier and heavier, engineers have to frequently change the design, and the output cost increased. The economic efficiency of the mould companies has been affected.Many companies and research institutions employed great manpower and material resources for the better resolution to those problems. There has emerged great improvement in the systematization and standardization of mould production, especially as the result of the arising of the GT and other new theories and technologies. People has achieved positive results in the research of classified code systems applied in the production of die set and light industry spares, and some of the fruits were confirmed by some parts of the industry or even the whole industry.As far as the squeeze casting technology is concerned, the extending and applying of the technology thus are very unsatisfied. How to perfect the technology and how to realize the systematization and standardization of squeeze casting mould for meeting the demand of the logistics supply chain? These are now the focus question of the mould industry.Relating literatures illustrate that research on the mould classified code systems is not sufficient. In the light of the features of squeeze casting technology, a detailed and practical squeeze casting mould classified codesystems emerged in the paper by the writer. Meanwhile, taking specific spares and the related mould as example, the paper gives the detailed code and realizes it by computer.The practical use of the code system is pleased and achieves the desired results. It may be drawn on by other mould code systems and is a very useful piece of prelude for mould CAD/CAM. It is also a valuable attempt to the systematization and standardization of squeeze casting mould.Because the research time is limited; New theories and technologies have not fully applied to the systematization and standardization of squeeze casting mould. As a result, the code system is waiting for further modification and perfection.
