The surface cmposition of the tin side of float glass of Qinhuangdao Yaohua Guotou Float Glass Co.Ltd (YHGT) and Shanghai Yaohua Pilkington Glass Co.Ltd (SYP) has been compared by XPS and found that tin is present in the 0,+2,+4 valence states.Of the total tin content,Sn2+,Sn4+ vs. depth (≤1 μm) profiles are different between the two samples.By means of a series of simulated experiments to the float glass process of China,data of the surface tin concentration and the tin distribution are given by EDS and XRF.The results show that technics parameters affect tin concentration of float glass bottom surface.Finally,Molecular dynamics simulation has been used to determine the diffusion coefficients of Sn0 and Sn4+ ion in float glass bottom surface at different temperatures.The relation between the tin concentration of float glass bottom surface and bloom in toughened glass was investigated...
