The important parts of environment pollution are water pollution in world. Printing&dyeing wastewater is a major part of industrial water pollution, possessing "three high, one difficulty, one change" characters of high chromation, high biochemical index, high PH, difficultly reducing, changing parameter. Based on data analysis, determining test plan, carrying out local test analysis, researching characteristic of printing&dyeing, kinetics of biochemical treatment and complex process of wastewater treatment using neutralization theory, physical chemistry, anaerobic and aerobic technology, the process was utilized to the project of wastewater treatment in ChengDu shuangji printing&dyeing factory. Testing PH changing for wastegas neutralization, chromation removal for chemical flocculation, biochemical index for ABR and removal rate of organic matter for SBR. The results is that, in wastegas neutralization unit, PH changes form 10.5 to 8.0; in chemical flocculation unit, removal rate of chromation, COD and BOD is 60% and 60% and 30%; in ABR unit, removal rate of chromation, COD and BOD is 57% and 45% and 30%; in SBR unit, removal rate of chromation, COD and BOD is 66% and 83% and 93%; in whole complex process, removal rate of all pollution indexes is up to 90%, all parameters in treated wastewater is up to discharge level. The results for applying the complex process in actual engineering projects is the fact, that confirms the validity of waste gas neutralization, the practicability of flocculating technology, the progress of ABR technology and the rationality of SBR technology, indicates that the new process provides the low running cost, simple management, high removal rate for the chromatiOm, BODs, COD, SS in wastewater. Thereby, the new process will become a commendatory process for treating printing&dyeing wastewater.
