A Study Of 2-D Expansion Methods For Diestamping Parts

In this paper, the key techniques of the computer-aided design system for rough blank are expounded, and this CAD system is an important part of Die Stamping Parts CAD/CAM/CAE/CAPP Integrated System. The principles and implement method of blank expansion methods are discussed, including: Experienced Method, Geometric Mapping Method, Slip Line Field Method, Physics Field Method, Geometric Approximate Method and Finite Element Method; Development of computer-aided design system of 2-D expansion for rough blank based on Delphi6.0.Some ways of the dynamic contact were given with the software, such as geometric description of the model, selection of the contact algorithm and building of the contact friction model. Through the analysis of the application examples, the forecast of quality in blank drawing was practicable, and then the designing of blank size was approached.
