Study On The Changes Of The Environment And Its Relation To The Economic Development Of The Yellow River Delta

During the process of the mankind to develop economic welfare and satisfy the material need, the environment has been polluted, endangering the existence and development of the mankind. The prerequisite of sustainable development is that the environment is coordinated with the economy. The harmony of environment and economy is a process of development. In the process, the environment has its own course of development, but it also depends on the economy to some degree. The environment should be adjusted and controlled to accord with the need of social and economic development.The Yellow River Delta has abundant natural resources, which make great potentiality of economic development, but its environment is fragile. Adjusting and controlling the relation between the environment and the economic development rationally can avoid the pollutions caused by the economic growth and realize the harmony of environment and economic development. Characteristics and laws of the environmental changes and their relation to the economic development of the Yellow River Delta are explained to provide a basis for the protection of environment and the policy to realize sustainable development.Firstly, changes of the environment of the Yellow River Delta are studied and the characteristics and laws of the environmental changes of the Yellow River Delta are summarized: the air pollution is weakened; the trend of water pollution to aggravate slows down; the trend of land pollution slows down; the biologic environment takes a favorable turn gradually.Secondly, the relation of environmental changes and the economic development of the Yellow River Delta are analyzed, and trends of the economic development and the environment changes of Yellow River Delta are summarized: the atmospheric environment is becoming coordinated with economic development gradually; the changes of the aqueous environment and the economic development are incongruous at first, but become coordinated later; the changes of the praedial environment and the economic development are incongruous; the changes of the biologicenvironment are coordinated with the economic development. General characteristics of environmental changes and the economic development have been summarized: the changes of economy and environment demonstrate various forms; differences exist in the phases of the development of the relation of the environment and the economy; the time and orders that the forms of economic and environmental development appear are irregular.Then, trends of the environment changes and the relations between the economy and the environment of the Yellow River Delta are predicated through dynamo equations. Trends of environment change and their relation with economic development of the Yellow River Delta are analyzed on the basis of the relation between the quality of environment and pollutant emitions: if the trend exponentially smoothed of environment change is maintained, environmental quality will take a favorable turn progressively; if the trend of environment in the period studied, or the impact of economy on the environment in 2000 is maintained, though the economy will increase by a wide margin, the environment will be seriously polluted, exceeding the environmental capacity greatly.Next, changes of the environment and their relation with economic development of the Yellow River Delta are analyzed in scope of social economy, to understand the environmental changes and their relation with economic development deeply. The value of the effect of the total suspended particles in the atmospheric environment of Yellow River Delta is presented in money, and the changes of the environment are perceived in economic scope. The analysis shows: the impact of the environment on economic development is bigger and bigger; the rates of the lose of environmental value differs when the economy develop fast; loses of environmental value vary little while rates of economic development vary greatly; the environmental demand increases rapidly.Based on analysis of th...
