The process of nitrification-denitrification and its main factors were studied in this paper, and important experimental data of SBR biological denitrification process were obtained as a result. On the basis of the experimental data, the experiments of SBR biological denitrification process were carried and the final optimal operating parameters gained. Meanwhile, the adsorption property of permutit was also carefully discussed. Then a novel permutit bio-carrier was designed and the optimal operating parameters were achieved through SBR process experiments using permutit bio-carrier. The experimental results show that, with the application of permutit bio-carrier, the HRT(hydraulic retention time) of nitrification phase can be shortened by 2/3 with the consequence of further nitrification performance stabilization, and in turn the whole denitrification performance of SBR process is effectively improved. |
