| With the development in domestic economy, high efficient and low pollution fuel is needed. It has good environment and energy saving profits when burning briquettes in the industry boilers. Compared with burning the conventional raw coal, the boiler heat efficiency increases, the dust concentration decreases and the desulfuration rate increases dramatically after adding sulphur-fixing agent in briquettes.Various fields of technology about briquettes are introduced in this thesis in detail. Firstly, it presents briquettes molding technology, include different molding theory (molding with binder and molding without binder) and molding methods (furnace-front molding and centralized molding). Secondly, in this thesis the desulfuration technology applied in briquette combustion is explicated and the factors that influenced the desulfuration rate are analyzed as well. Finally, the mechanism of briquette combustion is introduced and the factors that influenced on the combustion of briquette are also analyzed in this in this thesis.In order to study the combustion of briquettes, an experimental equipment is built up in the laboratory and a serious of experiments with different kinds of coal is carried out on the platform. Through these experiments, some factors influencing ignition and combustion of briquettes are analyzed, such as coal properties, different pressure on molding and the additives in briquette.Based on the industrial test of briquette combustion, the results show that the boiler efficiency increases about 3% and the dust concentration obviously decreased. It also shows the desulfuration rate increase about 55% compared with buring the conventional raw coal.The briquette technology has benefit both in saving energy and reducing pollution. So it is a better clean coal combustion technology. |
