Based on the feasibility of regenerating ion exchange resin by water splitting with bipolar membrane, small laboratorial equipment is designed. Systems analysis is shown on regeneration with bipolar membrane electrodialysis. The process and effect with acid and base made by water splitting with bipolar membrane is studied. The experiment discusses the influence of work voltage, quantity of electric charge, space between of the regeneration room on the electro-regeneration, analyzes the effect of concentration of salt room, the type of ion exchange membrane and electrode on making acid and base .The main facility of bipolar membrane electrodialysis is developed. At last, it draws a conclusion on whether the electro-regeneration technology could be applied to industry.
