With its main virtue of high separation efficiency,simple structure ,being made easily and being cleaned easily ,the corrugated baffle mist separator of desulfurization(CBMSD) is the main steam-water separator being widely used in the practice of industry,especially the corrugated baffle mist seperator with hook.In the paper ,with the example of CBMSD of the 1st thermal power plant in yangzhou of jiangsu province.the turbulent flow in arc channel of CBMSD are numerical simulated and analysed by using the CFD model of ANSYS5.7.On this basis.editing the program of tracking of liquid droplets,analysing the moving behavior and depositing performance of droplets with different sizes and calculating the efficiency of separator with different structures .Then setting up device of experiment and by varing the different factors of influencing efficiency to measure the separation efficiency according to different structures .Then comparing the calculating results and the result of experiment .The result of research manifests that the high separation efficiency can be got by assembling various influencing factors in reason.In this paper,the ANSYS5.7 CFD software combined with K-ε model and Re-Normalized Group Turbulence model are used.By simulating the turbulence flow in arc channel,using track model to analyse the move of droplets and using the R-R function to the sizes of droplets,calculating separation efficiency.Thus providing a theory calculating method of analysing separation efficiency .The results of the study will be helpful for designing and applying the CBMSD.
