Fluoride as a type of very important chemical compound, plays an extremely crucial role in the people's life. In many ways we are expected to command quantitative analysis researching on fluorine and fluoride. Therefore it is realistically meaningful for the field of medicine, environmental protection, etc. to establish and adopt a swift, precise, dependable, advanced and universal fluorine quantitative method. The methods and principles of the applicaton of 19F-NMR analyses for fluorine and fluoride have been discussed, and we achieved a satisfactory result in practical usage. This thesis includes five chapters:Chapter 1: The basic quality of fluorine and several types of common quantitative analysis methods of fluorine have been introduced. Emphases to introduce the fundamental theories of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and general principles and methods for quantitative analysis by the application of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance.Chapter 2: Study the internal standard quantitative method by 19F-NMR to analyze fluorine. Discuss the experimental parameters optimization, internal standards and solvent choices, accuracy and the limit of detection. The experiment result indicates that this method for analyzing fluorine and fluoride has characteristics of simplicity, accuracy and swiftness. The limit of detection can be up to 2 × 10-3g/L in the use of this instrument.Chapter 3: Study the external standards quantitative methods by 19F -NMR to analyze fluorine. Discuss how to make internal and external casings, optimization of experimental parameters, the influence of general coexistence ions and its accuracy and precision. The experiment result indicates that this method not easily to be interfered by the coexistent ions, and able to be widely used, not destrory samples and in need of no pure samples as for comparison, especially suitable for analysing the chemical compound which is likely to react with internal standards.Chapter 4: Introduce the method of quantitative analysing Levofloxacinand Pazufloxacin mesilate samples by 19F-NMR. Take respective appropriate analyzing methods for quantitative analyses according to the samples' quality. The experiment result indicates that the quantitative analyses method with 19F- NMR has a wide future and excellent practical usage in medical research field.Chapter 5: Introduce the method by 19F-NMR for analyzing the concentration of fluorine in tantalum and niobium production waste liquid. Take respective resolutions to make diagrams simple and good for analyses according to the samples' quality and both internal standards and external standards for analyzing. The experiment result indicates that the quantitative analyses method with 19F -NMR has its particular superiority in analyzing the concentration of fluorine as to the samples with unknown detailed composition. The quantitative analysis of fluorine and fluoride by 19F-NMR has been discussed in this thesis, and we achieved a satisfactory result in practical usage.
