The mineral resources are must material base for the existence and the development of the mankind society. The mineral industry is basic industry for national economy. However, a large amount of rejected materials came from on a large scale mining and utilization of mineral resources are seriously imperiling mankind's existential environment. The treatment, handling,and comprehensive recovery and utilization of these rejected materials will have important economic and societal effect.The study on the magnetics mechanism of titanomagnetite indicates that the magnetic parameters of the titanomagnetite have the most direct and closest relationship with its particle size, ie. each magnetic parameter increased slowly with particle size decreased, then the magnetic parameters have mutated when the particle size decreased to 0.045mm. At the same time, the magnetic parameters of the titanomagnetite have the interrelationship with its chemical compositions.The titanomagnetite is characterized by low content of chadacryst minerals, high content of iron and low content of titanium, therefore high quality vanadium-iron concentrate with high iron and low titanium could be obtained. At the same time, because of ilmenite content in the ore is relative higher, that is advantageous to recovery of titanium and high recovery could be obtained.The laboratory test on two-stage low-intensity magnetic separation and "medium- and low-intensity magnetic separation" technologies for the titanomagnetite was performed through selecting two-stage grinding-beneficiation technology based on -1.7mm coarse tailings abandoning. The results indicate that the technico-economic indexes of the two-stage beneficiation process based on "medium- and low-intensity magnetic separation" are better. The high quality vanadium-iron concentrate with TFe content of 54.70% , and with the recoverie of 54.12% has been obtained. "High-intensity magnetic separation-flotation" process was used to beneficiate the ilmenite from bulk-size fraction tailing which obtained from "medium-and low-intensity magnetic separation" two-stage beneficiation of iron for various ratio mine samples,the ilmenite concentrate containing TiO2 of 48.07% with recovery of 62.20% was obtained.Several feasiable suggests on comprehensive tackle for the environment were proposed in this paper.
