Lots of oxidants were tested in oxidizing the medial products alkylthio-N,N-disubstituted amides and aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution is the desired oxidant for synthesis of the target molecules under the mild conditions. Both a-sulfinyl-N,N-dibutylacetamides and P-sulfinyl-N,N-dibutylpropanamides were characterized by IR, 1HNMR, MS spectra and elemental analyses.a-Sulfinyl-N,N-dibutylacetamides were reacted with SmCl3 and YbCl3, respectively and gave the corresponding complexes {LnCl3[RSOCH2CON(C4H9)2]2} (Ln=Sm, Yb) . Their structures were also confirmed by elemental analyses and IR spectrum. The Sm(III) or Yb(III) complexes were tested to be used as a catalyst for the Diels-Alder reaction of cyclopentadiene with methyl acrylate. The influence of substituents on the ligands on the catalytic activity and the stereoselectivity was also studied. It was found that these complexes can accelerate the rate of the D-A reactions, but almost had no effect on the ratio of endo to exo of the products by introduction of various substituents in comparison with the reaction in the absence of the catalyst. At last, research on extraction of trivalent rare earth ions with a-sulfmyl-N,N-dibutylacetamides was performed under the different conditions, such as diluents, concentrations of the nitric acid and extractants. The preliminary results show that a-sulfinyl-N,N-dibutylacetamides can extract rare earth ions from nitric acid solution at a certain pH value. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | a-sulfmyl-N, N-dibutylacetamides, β-sulfinyl-N, N-dibutylpropanarnides, rare earth complex, Diels-Alder reaction, rare earth extraction | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
