Research On The Water Pollution Control Strategies Of The Three Gorges Reservior Area In Chongqing

Owing to the Problems of the environment-legal system construction, of the environment protection foundation-establishment construction, of the city-layout and industry-structure, and of the process of pollution-preventing, the condition of water environmental quality in Chongqing remains stable in the main, however it is still bad. Because of the emigration and new construction and the large land submerged by the Three Gorges Reservoir, the new environmental problems will be brought after the Three Gorges Reservoir having been constructed. Basis on analyzing the condition of water environmental quality in the Three Gorges Reservoir, the main sources of water pollution, and the reasons of water environmental pollution, the countermeasures of intensifying the control on water pollution are put forward with the main works in the last on environment-protection in this paper on seven aspects, such as environment-legal system construction, industry-structure adjusting, pollution-prevention and cure techniques, and the marketing of pollution-prevention and cure techniques. The process of pollution prevention and cure will be expedited by use and actualization of the countermeasures, and some pollution will be nipped in the bud.
