As the result of the development of steam turbine's high parameter and huge capacity, we must pay more attention to the reliability design and safe operation of the equipment. To prolong component life, it is necessary to study the material's fatigue damage on life predicting under complex loadings. Based on the experimental data of rotor steel 1CrMoV in the loading of low-cycle fatigue at high temperature, the strength behavior and the fatigue life curve of this material at 550℃ have been achieved. Meanwhile, with respect to three kinds of notched bar, their material damage assessment method under multiaxial stress condition is discussed. By means of the structural analysis code ANSYS the distributions of stress, strain and fatigue damage for three different geometries of the notched bars are analyzed and calculated. Using FEA method, the fatigue life is calculated out by several damage models. Comparing with the test results, the appropriate damage model is stated under the test condition.
