Anhydrite is resourceful and is not used effectively because of its poor gelling property, especially, its abandonment results in environment pollution. It is the important way of anhydrite-resourced use that to produce all kinds of construction materials and products by using wasted anhydrite, so it not only protect environment, but also make economical efficiency.The ability of anhydrite to react with water slowly to make gypsum forms the chemical basis for its use as a construction material. It can substantially improve the hydrating capability by grinding finely, adding activators and calcining. The industry apply of anhydrite will become impossible only after the hydrating velocity has been perfected. This is the key of the research of anhydrite modification.It had achievement under the study of G-N-M-J four-factor compound arousing system. It gains anhydrite cement, which coagulates in 30 minutes. This study improved anhydrite by calcining and adjusting the compound arousing system based on the system, therefore the coagulation and industry capability of anhydrite will be amended. The composition proportion, which have good modification effect and is suitable for industry producing will be tried to find out by combining calcining and compound-arousing system. Acting mechanisms of calcining will be discussed based on experiment result and test analysis.After items and systems tests, series technical parameters have been gotten. The proportions of the composition of modification anhydrite, which have the best capacity, have been obtained by modifying the content of every component of the compound system. The initial setting time of modified anhydrite has been controlled about 10 minutes, and the final setting time is about 15 minutes. The capacity of intensity and density is perfect.This research will guide the utilization of anhydrite. It makethe anhydrite industry produce come to realize, it solve the environment pollution of wasted anhydrite completely, and it will produce excellent economical efficiency.
