Because having the characteristics of multi- variables, non-linearity, big lag, serious undetermination and difficult to build precise mathematical model, the process control of wastewater treatment process has the backward state of automation.The wastewater treatment is a kind of typical complex process, which is always the study hotspot in control field. Activated sludge wastewater treatment is one kind of biology method, which is used widely in the world. The following works are taken in order to settle some problems in control of activated sludge wastewater process.(1) By the study of model, a new uncertain parameters model of activated sludge wastewater is established, which is used to control system in the paper.(2) Based on the stability and controlability analysis of uncertain parameters model, a method of condition feedback calm to system is given.(3) An integrated control scheme is proposed.(4) Applying of the theory of intelligence control, it designed an intelligence controller based on fuzzy neural network.(5) Finally the simulation experiments have been carried on. The result of simulation experiments confirms the entire control plan feasibility and validity.(6) Compared with the classical fuzzy control based on rules, the fuzzy neural network control with learning ability shows more robust and better performance.By research of fuzzy neural network control to wastewater treatment process, it is to look for a new control ways. So it has some application value.
