In recent years, the trend of higher precision machinery has imposed, an ever-increasing precision machine linear servo system is request at its positioning and tracking. But the friction presented in precision machine linear servo system has become an impediment to improve the performance. To overcome this impediment, stick-slip and chaos oscillation induced by friction analyzed and find relation ship in low speed, then CMAC methods are put forward to control chaos.The literature relevant to friction modeling, nonlinear transfunction for analying stick-slip, this method is an analytic way , It also applicable for analying the high-order systems.Using LUGre Model, chaos presented in precision machine linear servo system induced by friction is studied. The impact of system parameters on dynamics of the system and the route to chaos are analyzed. So this study provides a basis for system designing and synthesis. Based on it, the chaotic oscillation of a harmonically forced spring-mass system with friction is studied, through the phase-plane plots, time series and power spectral density, The impact of friction on the chaotic oscillation of this system is analyzed.To find the relation ship with stick-slip and chaos in low speed, the method of CMAC are put forwarded. Great effectiveness of this method is demonstrated by a series of simulation.
