A series of organic solvents were involved sequently (Petroleum ether, Dichloromethane, Diethyl ether, Ethyl acetate, Ethanol) in extracting the bark of Tilia Mongolica followed by obtaining of different kinds of extracts . Three compounds have been isolated from extract of Ethanol by employing column chromatograph, TLC, recrystallization techniques. Their structures were identified by IR, Elemental analysis , MS, 1H NMR, 13C NMR & its DEPT, HMQC, HMBC, COSY of 2D NMR data and other chemical data as p-D thymidine 3',5' - di(4-chlorobenzoate), a-D thymidine 3',5' - di(4-chloro benzoate), 4-chlorobenzoic acid. Meanwhile two compounds were isolated by HPLC. The oil parts of Ethanol extract were analyzed by capillary gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS); 36 compounds were identified and their relatively contents were determined by normalization method of area. These constituents represent 64.12 percents of the total peak areas. The properties and potential applications on anti-Anolophora Glabripennis and pharmaceutics of the isolated 3 compounds and the identified compounds of oil extracts have been discussed.Experiments of inhibiting ova and larva of Anolophora Glabripennis have been carried out in purified compounds. The results show that glutinone, glutinol and B-sitosterol all have effects on incubation of ova and growth of larva, which proved that chemical substances in the bark of Tilia Mongolica play a major role for inhibiting Anolophora glabripennis. A major clue may have been provided for selecting active compounds with inhibiting Anolophora Glabripennis further. Therefore, target molecule will be established.
