The article aim at developing a kind of copper alloy material with high strength and good electric conductivity-dispersion strengthened copper alloy.This paper selects WC with the function of high electric conductivity and heat conduction as dispersion by blending with the powder Cu high-performance ball milling, they are hot-pressed a new kind of dispersion strengthened copper alloy. Studies its mechanics performance and electric conductance. The results show: when the pressure is increase, the density, strength and hardness of the alloy rise and electric conductivity is decreasing in same dwell time (insure to press 1 min). The influence of dwell time for alloy performance is weak comparatively.With the method of mechanical alloying, adding different volumes percent of WC to the copper (0.4%~6%), Measure its density, strength, hardness and electric conductivity. Test result to show: when the quantity of WC raise, the electric conductivity is decreasing. Moreover, when WC is lower than 4%, decline of the electric conductivity is slow. When WC exceed to 4%, decline of the electric conductivity is faster obviously than before. The mechanics performance is elevated as the quantity of WC raise. When WC is lower than 2%, rising of the mechanics performance is faster than When WC exceed to 2%.It's a key to the making of dispersion strengthened copper alloy whether dispersion particles can scatter in the copper and in dispersion strengthened copper alloy whether it can avoid or reduce the existence of mechanical alloying defects such as its impurity, the big particles spreading unevenly and its impurity is the important reason making the performance drop down. For this reason, must optimize the parameter and control impurity.
