With the rapid development of population and economy, the demands of quantity and quality for water are increasing rapidly. Simultaneously, because the expenditure of capital construction and runing is costly, a lot of wastewater treatment processes are difficult to be used abroad. Therefore, the situation of water pollution is aggravating at a startling speed. So, how to enhance the efficiency and to reduce consumption is the key to solve these problems. And the key to enhance the efficiency is to promote mass transfer efficiency of water treatment process and make the activity of microorganism higher. The author study deeply transfer-reaction kinetics and the activity of microorganism during exploring high efficient hydrolysis-acidogenosis process of Anerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR). Base on the mass transfer mechanism of the process and the the activity of microorganism, this thesis put forward the theory of ABR: 1) It should focus on the mass transfer hydrolysis-acidogenosis process to achieve high efficient. Namely, the fluid of swift water and tiny whirlpool come from kinetics of the process which make the mass transfer better; 2) Increase alkalinity to improve the capability of abirritation of the system and an optimal pH condition which fit to acidic bacterium come into being. Then the high efficience of system is achieved.For purpose of enhancing mass transfer in the reactor, the author designed ABR on the basic achievement of high efficient hydr-olysis-acidogenosis process in 2001. the characteristic of ABR is change water power characteristic and to improve the term of mass transfer in the reactor in order to increase the reaction velocity; and increase alkalinity to improve the capability of abirritation of the system through add Na2CO3 to reaction and a optimal pH condition which fit to acidic bacterium come into being. In result, the organic matters are removed efficiently in system.The paper demonstrated that the ABR is efficient after more than 10months' experiment. The conclusions are showed as followed:1. This paper demonstrated that microbe adapt better to the environment of system and have better fastness when the organic loading is variational as soon as the reaction is startuped naturally;2. Considering the relation between the activity of microorganism and temperature and taking energy into account, the reaction is runed in (24?1)3. Considering pH vs specific TTC - dehydrogenase activity, N:was added into the system to increase alkalinity so as to improve the capability of abirritation of the system and create an optimal pH condition. The results demonstrated that the better specific TTC - dehydrogenase activity of acidic bacterium when pH was 4.8-6.27, the more organic matters will be removed;4. The results demonstrated that high efficient hydrolysis-acidogenosis process of anerobic baffled reactor(ABR) can get higher removal rate of organic matters in the shorter time. The removal rate of COD come up to 40% when the optimal HRT is 3h;5. the ABR is more efficient when influent COD is 450-900mg/L. The removal rate of the system begin to get down when influent COD is over l000mg/L. The result demonstrated that enhancing mass transfer do good to removal rate when the influent COD concentration is relatively low;6. The system has the more capability of abirritation to the variational organic loading. The optimal range of volume loading is 2.16-10.66kg/m3d;7. The system can get higher removal rate of TP in a short time and the removal rate of TP come up to 34.89% when the HRT is 3h;8. The rate of BOD5/CODcr was promoted a lot during the research and it was promoted from 0.68 to 0.86;9. The paper also studied the effect which the ethanol-type fermetation removed the organic matters through controlling such restrict factors as pH, ORP, etc. The experiment proved that the ethanol-type fermentation has someIV2004advantages in increasing the removal of COD because producing quantities of air bubbles that adhere to the surface of the biofllms reduce contrac...
