| The phenomena of ablation and plasma in the process of laser ignition of B/KNO3 is studied in this paper. It is found that the interaction between laser and energetic materials is not only a process of heat transmission, but also a process of ablation and plasma. The mathematics model of interaction mechanism considering ablation is established in this paper too.The phenomenon of ablation is observed by EMS at ablated spots. The phenomenon of plasma is detected by a pair of parallel electrodes and the category of ions were detected by TOFMS. Phenol resin is added into the composite and a shirt of PVC was covered on the surface of the composite separately. The change of delay time of ignition shows influence of phenol resin and membrane of PVC.The studied results show that :(1) There is a best delay time of ignition. (2) The phenomenon of ablation and plasma are found in the interaction process between laser and energetic materials. (3) Phenol resin and Membrane of PVC can both prevent the energy and the mass transferring to environment and reduce the effect of ablation. (4) There is ion interaction in the gas phase. |
