Design And Development Of NC Gear Shaper YK5120

Gear is an important transmission element in mechanical manufacturing, it has the features of constant power output, heavy loadings, high efficiency, long operating life, stable transmission ratio, compact structure, etc. Due to its important role in mechanical transmission and the complexity of its form, the design and manufacturing level of gears has become one of symbol of modern industry level of a country, and become the research hotspot in academe too. Thus, it is of great theoretic and realistic significance to research on correlative technology of gears.Gear shaping is a versatile means of manufacturing spur gear, internal gears, etc. Aiming at the key technology of numerical control, taking NC gear shaper as research object, some issues are studied in this paper.1 NC gear shaper YK5120 was developed.1 Three dimensional model of NC gear shaper is built, kinematics simulation and interference checking of NC gear shaper are carried out.2 Based on kinematic theory of multi-body system, the precision of gear shaper and the error of generated gear are analyzed and simulated。3 Applying finite element software, the natural frequency and mode of NC gear shaper are analyzed.
