So its safety problem is become more and more serious. Many notorious accidents, such as fire, explosion and poison, are taken place frequently and the aftereffect of these accidents on environment and society is much greater than themselves. So society pays more closed attention to the safety of project. Through deeply analyzing the materials and technological conditions, potential hazard elements could be found out. And the safety status of the units could be evaluated as a result by applying process safety principles. Based on above, inherent safety can be solved and corresponding management measures can be given out.In this paper, the process and equipment of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) mixing with air are described firstly. Medium characteristic is analyzed, combining with its technological equipment character. All kinds of dangerous factors in produce are identified, and all dangerous factors is analyzed by using the principle and technology of process safety. According to equipment's hazard, practicable emergency plans are put forward to deal with various potential accident states."DOW's Fire & Explosion Index Method" is selected to evaluate the manufacture device by comparison. In order to make the application of the method to be convenient, the units of "DOW's Fire & Explosion Index Method" are standardized during the course of evaluation, and the application software of "DOW's Fire & Explosion Index Method" is developed by using Visual Basic program. According to the same kind device in and abroad and actual situation, the main LPG store unit, gasified unit and gas mixing unit are evaluated objectively, and the exact conclusion of evaluation is given.Pipeline is very important in this project. Since leakage is taken place frequently in chemical industry, the leakage of LPG should be avoided because it is flammable.ABSTRACTIn this paper every potential leakage phenomenon is analyzed roundly, and rational measures are put forward according to actual situation. Part of pipeline would be reconstructed because some of former gas pipeline is to be used again. This paper analyzes pipe material in detail, all potential safety problems are pointed out and some countermeasures are put forward. Intrinsic safeguard system of pipeline is improved by using risk analysis and the accordant is recommended. It would be more applicative. When the new pipeline safeguard system is used, it would be beneficial to safety management for company. |
