The preparation of the nano-SiO2/NR composites was studed by means of the emulsion coagulation, by mixing the prepared nano-SiO2 emulsion and natural rubber latex and then coagulating the mixture, taking sodium silicate and natural rubber latex as main raw materials. The structure and properties of composites were investigated by IR DSC SEM TEM DMA and mechanical properties determine mothed. The effect of the factors on the mechanical properties of composites was analyzed by Orthogonal Testing Experiments. The optimum preparation conditions were as follows: the concentration of Na2SiO3 9H2O solution is 190g I-1, reaction time is (1)30min (2)45min, the reaction temperature is 90, the dosage of the silane coupling agent(TESPT) is 15%, the surface active agent is2,5%, nucleus agent is 2%, dispersant agent is 0.4%. TESPT was found to have the good interface function of nano-SiO2 and NR, to improve the structure of composites. The nano-SiO2 was found to have preferable reiforcing effect on NR, disivable mechanical properties and heat-resistant aging of the nano-SiO2/NR composites.
