A new mechanical pretreatment of agricultural straw was reported in this article. Straws that had been pretreated by this method were divided into two parts: rough cellulose and tiny cellulose. Rough cellulose used on pulping, package materials and one-off dishware. The tiny cellulose can be used to produce functional food or other proteinous feed through solid-state fermentation in order to enhance its value in use because it contained very little lignin and could be easily utilized by microorganism. This method could realize comprehensive utilization of flocks of agricultural straws and avoided the problem of utilization cellulose with total biological method which were impossible in the present. The optimum condition of mechanical pretreatment was confirmed. Fibre obtained in this optimum pretreatment condition had moderate length and certain intensity and beating degree. The optimum conditions of delignification by H2O2,ClO2 were also confirmed through the comparison of the degree of delignification. The beating degree and the brightness increased variously after the delignification by H2O2,ClO2.. The pulp produced by the mechanical pretreatment could be the package materials and it was proved to be possible to produce paper through add certain old cardboard chests to the pulp after the research and examine of the Pulp and Paper Academe of China. The utilization of tiny cellulose to produce dietary fiber and xylo-oligosaccharides was also reported in this article. The dietary fiber concentration was 54.19% and the xylo-oligosaccharides content in the degrade was 21.44% in the optimum preparation condition. It was also reported in this article that xylo-oligosaccharides was made by xylanase. A strain of molds with capability of degrading the xylan and producing xylo-oligosaccharides were selected from 67 species of molds. The suitable conditions in shake-flask experiment were obtained, the activity reached the highest value of 1.4605 Iu/ml。Attempt was made to yield ethanol through solid-state fermentation with cellulasing mold and yeast. It was proved to be possible through the experiment. But a lot of work should be done because the date of solid-state fermentation had little repeatability.
