Study On Capacity Assessment, Evaluation And Enhanced Project Of BAOSTEEL Ordinary Railway System

BAOSTEEL ordinary railway transportation system (shortened form "ordinary railway system" ) is one of the important subsystems of the BAOSTEEL system, and it is the important route-way of raw materials coming into the factory and steel product moving out of the factory. The railway station of BAOSTEEL ordinary railway is an industry-corporation station. In this paper, four aspects' studies on transportation capacity of ordinary railway have been made by using some railway station's ideas and connecting to the BAOSTEEL ordinary railway's actualities.(1) The assessment of station's capacityOrdinary railway system is a great system, its capacity is composed of some subsystems' capacity which included station's through capacity, locomotive's capacity, inter-zone through capacity and load and unload equipment's capacity. According to different subsystem's capacity, the text have accordingly presented principles, methods, calculating formulas, data flows etc. on capacity assessment and calculation. Further more, this paper have assessed the every subsystem's capacity of ordinary railway system and got the overall capacity of whole ordinary railway system.(2) Integrated evaluation of ordinary railway transportation capacitySome factors of ordinary railway system which include capacity status, the capacity's adaptation status with the BAOSTEEL system, and the harmonious status with railway station etc. will have big effect to the BAOSTEEL's production. First, this paper have made systemic analysis on ordinary railway system transportation capacity; second, this paper have evaluated the ordinary railway system's transportation capacity, by using a economic classical theory "theory of cask" , and have found out the " short boards" that limit the exertion of ordinary railway system's transportation capacity; finally, this paper have forecasted the ordinary railway's transportation output and analyzedthe capacity adaptability of the present railway station's capacity.(3)Capacity enhancement and effect analysis of ordinary railway systemAccording to the "short board" of ordinary railway system's transportation capacity, this paper have presented enhancement projects and calculated the intending capacity, consequently got the improved extend of the capacity. Consulted the ordinary railway's transportation output in the several years, we are sure that the ordinary railway's capacity can fill the medium-term and long-term development request of BAOSTEEL production.(4)Information system of ordinary railway's transportation capacityThe pre methods that assess railway station's capacity have already couldn't satisfied the development of railway station. With the quick increase of railway station's capacity, imminently need a suit of software to achieve the capacity assessment job. This paper have made brief systemic analysis and systemic design to "information systems of BAOSTEEL ordinary railway's transportation capacity" , and have presented the basal ideas of the software.
