The steam consumption of the thin alkali liquid evaporation process is one of two most energy consumptions in the chlor-alkali factory, and it is only next to the electricity consumption. In this paper, the energy-saving and consumption decrease were studied in the process of thin alkali liquid evaporation in the chlor-alkali factory of Panzhihua iron and steel company.The influences of two-effect pressure, feeding concentration, temperature on the steam consumption were detailedly discussed and analyzed. The methods of steam consumption decrease were put forward by the controls of operation conditions. The energy-saving effects of increases of steam jet heat pump and compress heat pump were discussed and analyzed. The two-effect steam is used as heat source of one-effect and the using quantity is up to 600kg/(tNaOH) under the increase of two-stage steam jet heat pump. The two-effect steam is used as heat source of other process and the using quantity is up to 1500kg/(tNaOH) under the increase of one stage steam jet heat pump. The two-effect steam may is also used as heat source of one-effect under the increase of compress heat pump, and the effect is good but the works for compress is more.It is the economical methods for the the energy-saving and consumption decrease that operation condition is well controlled and the two-effect steam is used as heat source of other process under the increase of one stage steam jet heat pump at present fundamental of the chlor-alkali factory of Panzhihua iron and steel company...
