Effective Microorganisms (EM) are one kind of new bacterial reagent, mainly including photosynthetic bacterium, yeast, lactic acid bacterium and actinomyceto. The main research contents in this thesis mainly study its flocculently active: separating the flocculently active microbial strain of EM and the best inoculation quantity of EM and flocculant character of EM.The following conclusions have been obtained: l)Photosynthetic bacterium and yeast are separated from EM through cultivating which have flocculant character;2)It has been proved that the inoculation of Photosynthetic bacterium and yeast is 5% and 3% separately;3)The flocculant compose factors are that using number I culture medium cultivating Photosynthetic bacterium, airtight cultivating 36h, in which flocculant rate can reach 85.48%; number V culture medium cultivating yeast, primary pH 7.0,culture 24h with temperature 30℃ and aeration rate was sufficient, in which flocculant rate can reach 90.20%. Flocculent activity effects include : kaolin suspension pH 7.0, flocculant experiment under 30℃, volume percent of flocculant is 2%, Fe~3+ Al~3= will improve the flocculant rate.
