| In this paper, a kind of casting Al alloy with high performance was studied on the base of ZL101 to meet the demand of a kind of high pressure switch container. In the process of experiment, firstly, the composition of alloy was designed. A series of alloys are designed by the way of adding in the alloy element: Zn,Cu,Mn,Ti,RE etc. Among them a certain of alloy with excellent integrated property is selected by the standard of tensile strength and elongation under the state of casting, and the smelting treatment were confirmed. Lastly the heart treatment and mechanical properties of this alloy were studied. The conclusion showed a new alloy composition can be gained by adding several Normal and low-cost alloy elements in general Al-Si alloy. No matter in state of casting or heart treatment the main mechanical properties of this alloy with this composition were improved, which meet the demand of the subject.This alloy was used in factory, and the high-pressure switch container was made by low-pressure casting. Test conclusion showed all properties of this container met the demand of the subject.
