At first, the ways and technologies of controlling explosive particle crystal shape at home and abroad are comprehensively analysed and the influence of some factors in the process of the solvent-nonsolvent recrystallization on the crystal shape of HMX is discussed. The mechanism of that influence is studied from the point of view of crystallization and crystal growth theory. On this condition, a set of recrystallization technology of HMX particle ball shape is developed. The following contents are studied in this dissertation .The solvent-nonsolvent recrystallization technology of simple substance explosive, the influential factors and the controlling technology of crystal shape are comprehensively analysed.The mechanism of the influence on the particle shape got by the way of the solvent-nonsolvent is studied from the point of view of crystallization and crystal growth theory.The influential factors on HMX particle shape in the process of recrystallization, such as the sort of solvent, adding speed of nonsolvent, PH of reactor liquid, mixing rate, the ultrasonic frequency and the sort of surfactant.The solvent-nonsolvent recrystallization technology of producing a kind of almost ball shape HMX particle with a regular shape and even distribution is developed. Most of the experiment in this dissertation is a kind of exploration study. The experiment result shows that it's possible to make the ideal particle shape by changing the experiment conditions. Some research results in this dissertation is of great guidance value to the study of the ball shape of simple substance explosive.
