This paper studied the technology of the quantitative pouring with the electromagnetic pump applied to the aluminum alloy squeeze casting. The construction of the system of the quantitative pouring with the electromagnetic pump had been designed reasonably, according to the principle of the direct current electromagnetic pump; The relationship formula between flux and the current and the relationship between the height of pumping and the current had been fitted, according to the principle of the controlling to the quantitative pouring with electromagnetic pump, and the controlling program of the quantitative pouring with the electromagnetic pump had been exploited on this basic. The reliability and the controlling precision had been validated with an experiment of the quantitative pouring. The controlling precision attained ±2%, and the reliability was good.The technology of the squeeze casting of a loading wheel of the aluminum alloy had been constituted, according to the principle and the characteristic of the squeeze casting. The system of the quantitative pouring with the electromagnetic pump and the squeeze casting machine were chained to work, and the loading wheel of the aluminum alloy had been squeezed. It's semblance was integrated, the surface was glabrous, and the dimensions were satisfactory. The mechanical property and the microstructure had been analyzed, and the results were satisfactory.Comparing to the traditional manual pouring, the system of the quantitative pouring with the electromagnetic pump applied to the aluminum alloy squeeze casting of this subject studying can availably improve the quality and the precision of the casting, depress the process redundancy of the casting, and increase the availability of materials. Using the system of the quantitative pouring with the electromagnetic pump can replace the traditional manual pouring and realize mechanization and automatization, and can depress the intensity of work of workers and increase the productivity of casting.
