The Research And Produce Of A New-Type Frequency Conversion Spot Welding Source By AC Chopped Mode

Inverter spot welding is the primary non-splash microelements welding technique in the electronic industry. However, there are several common problems existing in the current inverter spot welding machine, which are unideal current wave, unsatisfied work stability and relatively big power consumption, etc. Therefore, research and development of a new-style low power inverter spot welding power source has significant theories and the engineering application values.On the basis of research the domestic and international inverter power source, this dissertation states a new-style inverter spot welding power source, and at the same time, it detailed analyze the chopped AC voltage wave. Through the analyses of Fast Fourier Transform, the relationships among the occupation probability, chop frequency and the amplitude of second harmonics have been gotten, and the reasonable value scope have been given here.On the theories foundation stated above, main circuit of inverter power source and the control system have been designed and actualized. Effect of power supply frequency to the welding transformer in the main circuit has been analyzed, and, through lab testing, appropriate series capacitance has been selected, which effectively reduce power voltage and no-load current of the transformer.The main circuit, software and hardware of the control system, stated in this paper, all have passed the debug. It has been indicated in the whole running test result that the control function of system has reached the design request, main circuit and transformer are work normally, and the chopped-wave is concordance with the theory.The successful design of a new-type frequency conversion spot welding source by AC chopped mode has an important meaning which can radically improve the quality of spot welding to the microelements.
