| In order to promote the development and application of Linear Friction Welding technology, hydraulic vibrating system and computer control system are designed in theory. Mathematical model and transfer function of electro-hydraulic control system of Friction Welding Machine are established. To test the characteristic of electro-hydraulic control system of friction welding machine, the system are dynamic simulated with Matlab/Simulink, especially the effect of vibrating system is analyzed deeply. The hardware of the designed computer controlling system is made up of industry computer and multifunction data gather card, and the software is written with Visual C++ based on Windows 98,and the method of DLL in MFC is used , the software can realize the function of data gathering and auto controlling during the process of LFW. To test the feasibility and dependability of the hydraulic and computer system for LFW, and also there is some need of red copper to be welded with friction welding method in the production, a set of proportional electro-hydraulic control system is designed for continuous driving friction welding machine, and the system is simulated and dynamic tested with Matlab/Simulink, So the method and the correctness are validated. During the testing process, it is found that a kind of special flash just like drum would come out when the material red copper is welded, and the forming process is studied. The results indicates (1) The response characteristic of the hydraulic system can be simulated reliably with Matlab/Simulink.(2) The swing of hydraulic system of linear friction welding can be improved with the method of using elasticity force to offset the inertia force. (3) The computer control system can control the friction welding process with the operating system of Windows 98 (4) The metallurgical structure of the flash like drum comes out when red copper is welded with the method of friction welding is all right.
