Human Behavior's Bad Effect On Environment

This paper is to reflect and criticize human behavior from the perspective of environmentprotection in order to find the cultural root and institutional factors that support traditionalhuman behavior. The conclusion is that the pollution of human environment is actually thehuman-centered traditional culture's pollution. To save human environment involves theestablishment of a new humanity theory system in which human and environment developharmoniously. This paper deals with five important factors that influence environment greatly: humanproductive behavior, human consumption behavior, human's reproductive behavior, human'sethic, government's administrative behavior. Five parts are included in the paper. I. Environment and Economy---Reflection on human productive behavior. Through theoutside analysis of human productive behavior, correction will be made in traditionaleconomics theory and system will be established to make outside cost internalized. In thisway human behavior will be changed. II. Environment and Consumption---Reflection on human consumption behavior.Through the analysis of the current popular consumption behavior and consumption culture'sinfluence on environment, the paper advocates sustainable consumption, establishes newoutlook. III. Environment and Population---Reflection on human reproductive behavior. Throughthe analysis of the influence of population upon environment and the analysis of the factorsthat influence population, policy will be made in order to control the increase of population. IV. Environment and Ethics--- Reflection on human ethics behavior. Through thecriticism of traditional ethics, the paper advocates that human ethics should not only apply tohuman society but also apply to the relationship between human and nature. V. Environment and Administration---Reflection on government's administrativebehavior. Through the analysis of malfunction of government, the paper tries to find out thereason of the malfunction of government on the issue of environment and advances theinnovative system for government's administration of environment. The method employed in the paper is the critical method. Reflection will be made uponhuman behavior from the perspective of environment protection The author reads many reference books at home and abroad, learns from many newacademic viewpoints and new achievement at home and abroad. On this basis, the author makes further developments. i. System Innovation. Environment protection is the start point. Analysis is made fromhumanity social sciences perspective. In this way a complete theory system can beestablished. ii Innovative viewpoints (1) All human behaviors have outside nature, and all the outsidecost have to be internalized.(2) Innovation in environment values. Put forward newfoundations for environment values.(3) In consumption behavior, put forward the harmonybetween the strengthening of domestic demand and sustainable consumption.(4) the flaws inlegal system.(5) Innovation in government's administrative system for environmentprotection.(6) Environment ethic construction. The paper advances new ideas on the aboveissues. In a word, many new ideas are advanced in the paper. Certainly there are still someshortcomings, the author hopes to see the criticism and correction from teachers.
