Mirco-alloys mechanism of rare earth in oxygen- ethine thermal spray-welded F102B alloy coating was studied in this paper in order to solve the surface corrosion and wear problem of the mine shaft slide-way.Different quantity rare earth was added in the alloy powder and whose influence on spray coating's hardness, wear property,corrosion and resisting high temperature combustion was measured by the numbers. The results show that alloys spray coating properties are improved in different degree after added suited rare earth element.The synthesise properties are the best when content of rare earth is 0.6%. Coating hardness improves 7.2% and abrasion 18.5%. In the mean time coating resisting corrosion property obtained improvement in some degree.XRD, SEM, STM and EPMA analysis ways were used in order to research alloy coating. The results show that the alloys consist of γ-Ni, CrB, Ni3B, Ni3Si, (Cr, Fe) 23C6 and (Cr, Fe) 7C3. Columnar CrB, granular (Cr, Fe) 7C3, spherical Ni3Si and some another net mixture were well distributed in the base of γ-Ni. Coating Alloy structures are thinner when compared with the base alloy structures. The length is 3~4μm and the diameters of CrB is 1μm, The diameters of (Cr, Fe) 7C3 is 1.5-2.5 μm and Ni3Si are 0.5-1.5 μm.Test and analysis results show grain refinement, grain boundary refiness, impurity in deteriorate alloys and solid solubility strengtheness affect on rare earth element in alloys are primary mechanism in improving F102B pray-welding coating capability. Alloy DTA curve shows rare earth element make eutectic transform temperature of Ni based self-fusible alloy lower from 1067 to 1063 degree Centigrade. The reason is that Ce has high solid solubility in Cr, and substituting Cr reaction with Fe-Cr-C in part. The result also show RE has little influence on alloy coating property in argon shielded arc cladding technology, even reduces alloy hardeness in plasma bead weld technology. Different coating technology has different effect on mechanism,and rare earth can improve alloy property if it lay between grain boundary of F102B spraying weld coating and bad influence if in compound.Stimulus test was made about the applyment the mine shaft slide-way .The result shows the mine shaft slide-way can be defended better spray-weld F102B+RE alloys by oxygen- ethane in easy abrasion surface and arc spraying aluminate in the other exposed surface.
