The signify of system of multiphase pump and important of its application was in evidence along with the exploitation to desert oilfield, boundary oilfield and border-area oilfield in the past few years. Through literature search and investigate to all screw pump company in china we know twin-screw multiphase pump have wide appliance and market foreground as focus equipment of the system (one special type of multiphase pump). However, the method of rotor machining for twin screw multiphase pumps which is named shaped turning has some limits such as low work efficiency ,bad precision and lack for grinding, this seriously blocks the improvement and development for the capability of twin screw multiphase pump.On the base of analysis to one kind twin screw multiphase pump which is applied by almost all twin screw pump users in china and all methods of screw manufacture in world, I first bring out a new method for screw manufacture—ex-arc-generatrix approach method, and the same time I analysis the essential of the method and determine limits for space arc-generatrix, through constitute workpiece-cuter model, I build math model for calculating approach arc and optimizing to space arc, otherwise manufacture precision calculating method is built. I write programs for all calculating, optimized and simulating model used C++ language, after this I make all program generally in order that we can calculate out real approach arc for all axis-section curve given by designer used the calculating system. VB language make the system have good interface. The analysis and results of many calculating samples show this method has good characteristics such as high machining precision and high efficiency, Cutting test validate the feasibility and applicability of this method.Through fewer study, this method also solves the problem of finish machining for harden screw. On the other side, the running efficiency and natural life of twin screw multiphase pump can be better.
