The paper summarized the significant study of chiral pesticides and chiral Aryl-oxy-propionic acid herbicides. Because it is not mature to synthesize chiral Aryl-oxy-propionic acid herbicides by now worldwide, the paper tried to study the reaction conditions and found the primary factors which can affect the e.e. in synthesizing chiral Aryl-oxy-propionic acid compounds. The paper improved on the synthesis of chirality Aryl-oxy-propionic acid herbicides, and had a good e.e. of chirality Aryl-oxy-propionic acid compounds (96.2% e.e.).In addition, the paper used a new method to synthesize high optical purity Methyl 2-chloropropionate (98% e.e.) by Vilsmeir-Hack reagent, and found another new method to prepare optical purity Methyl 2-chloropropionate (96% e.e.). At the same time, were established the analytical methods of chirality Aryl-oxy-propionic acid compounds.
