Because UASB reactor have already developed quickly at home and abroad recently, but in the engineering, after UASB reactor construct completely, it can't display its superiority quickly, must foster the process through granular sludge no more than 6-20 months. Till the present, the research report about quickly start of full-scale UASB reactor is less, lots of them are lab-scale or pilot-scale, to the production reactor of success, the successful, quick start-up of full-scale UASB reactor, have become an urgent problem among the domestic and international environmental engineering scholar.This experimentation used the internal circulation UASB reactor to treat starch wastewater, during the process start up, we pay more attention to the influence to the quick start of the reactor such as inoculate sludge, inflow method, alkalinity ,sludge loss, etc. The result of the experiment indicted that the raising of loading through the concentration of volatile fat acids (VFA) of effluent, when the sludge concentration in reactor was 15 kgVSS/m~3, the volumetric loading of starting was 0.24kgCOD/m~3,the inflow method is batch method; During the granular sludge came out, the alkalinity of influence is 4000mg/L,the inflow method was batch flow and recycling; During the sludge autumn the alkalinity of influence is 2800mg/L,inflow method was influent continuously and recycling; the time of start-up was shorter. After the reactor started, the effluence in designing loads, the rate of COD removal was stability and greater than 93%.When the concentration of sludge is sameness, excluding the inflow method above, or take the way of enhanced inoculability, the concentration of sludge raised up to 21 kgVSS/m~3, take the same way of influence, the time of start up are all longer.
