In this paper, PVC-TPE was studied by means of modifying PVC and rubber-plastic blending. The three systems had been studied were PVC/PVAF, PVC/PNBR and PVC/PNBR dynamic vulcanized.For PVC/PVAF blending system, the influence of mass ratio of PVC/PVAF, plasticizer mass and synergic use on the properties of the blend were discussed. The research results showed: when the mass ratio of PVC/PVAF was 80/20 and 20/80, the blend had comparatively good comprehensive properties. The tensile strength of a system of 20/80 was up to 21.9 MPa, tear strength 67.8KN/m, permanent distortion 18%, 100% fixed distortion 5%. Kaolin exhibited a good reinforcing effect, enhancing the tensile strength to 22MPa and tear strength to 68KN/m.For blended system of PVC/PNBR, the influence of the mass ratio of PVC/PNBR, mass of plasticizer, degree of polymerization of the polymer, and filler on the properties of the blend were investigated. The result showed: when the mass ratio of PVC/PNBR was 70/30, the tensile strength was up to 10.7 MPa, the elongation at break and tear strength added up to 390% and 44.5KN/m respectively. PVC system with a high degree of polymerization had the characteristic of high strength and high elongation at break. The blending system filled with white carbon black exhibited comparatively good properties.For dynamic vulcanized system of PVC/PNBR, the common usage of sulfur 0.5 phr.
