Wood-fiber plastics composites are prepared from wood fiber fillers (wood flour, corn straw and rice hulls) ,recycled thermoplastic resins and some processing aids, which are mixed at high temperature and then molded process. It is the best application of modern basic waste materials in industrial manufacture. It is also a kind of natural green environmental protection materials. Because of the shortage of forest resource and deterioration of environment ,this finding is a applied new technique with rapid growth and marked economic benefit in recent years. It can be used in packaging and construction industries and can be extruded into board ,profile and sheet materials with the same processing merits of wood. The study on this technique in our country lags behind that of the abroad. This paper mainly deals with moulding formula, technology and device of wood-fiber plastics composites so as to make a good basis for the industrialization of the composites.Mechanical properties of wood-plastics composites are greatly effected by formula factors, technology conditions and moulding methods. Compared with press moulding mainly used in our country, extrusion moulding can realize continuous production with short period and high efficiency. Therefore extrusion moulding is a prefer process method. This paper studies on the single screw extrusion speciality of wood-fiber plastics composites. The effects of different components and different technology parameters on mechanical and processing properties were discussed.The following studies have been done during our research work.1. Through adjusting formula and technology factors, reasonable material proportions and technology conditions were found, and wood-fiber plastics composites single screw extrusion were accomplished.2. On the basis of our theoretical and practical experience of single screw extrusion,a single screw suited for the extrusion of wood-fiber plastics composites is designed.3. the microstructure ,macroscopical properties and extrusion process of wood-fiber plastics composites are analyzed and studied.4. Wood-fiber plastics composites tray model is built and the change of stress and strain is analyzed with ANSYS software.
