| Microwave chemistry is a new knowledge that applies microwave technology to chemistry. In contrast to conventional chemical method, the chemical syntheses method of microwave can accelerate the velocity of the reaction, activate some chemical reaction, it is also clean and without pollution. In recent years, both microwave and chemistry field pay high attention to this new technology. Based on the experiment, this paper makes respectively research on the high power microwave variable attenuator, the measure methods of permittivity of different matters, the adjustment of the velocity and intensity of pressure of gas and exciting set of plasma.The magnetism controlled tube in the microwave stove can satisfy the ordinary requirements of microwave chemistry experiment. But the output power of this type of tube cannot adjust continuously and cannot satisfy microwave activating chemical reaction. It requires a kind of high power microwave variable attenuator that can adjust continuously at the level of several thousand of kilowatt. Thus, we can get a kind of power source that can adjust its output power continuously. This paper first makes clear the definition of the measurement of attenuation, analyses its work principle, gives its design procedure and draws its experimental curve.In order to accelerate the reaction of CH4 into C2H4, it need to use different sorts of catalyst. It is necessary to measure permittivity of different matters and calculate its loss tangent angle to seek after which catalyst can accelerate the speed of reaction. This paper talks the measure methods of permittivity of solid and plasma and gives the results of several kinds of solid power catalyst.In the process of making research of changing CH4 into C2H4 catalyzed by microwave, we find that it need a kind of equipment that can adjust gas velocity and intensity of pressure respectively in order to find out the factors that influence the translating and receiving rate. Then we can draw the curve of the gas velocity and intensity of pressure respectively. By this means, we can find out the best condition that can increase the translating and receiving rate. This paper talks the flow of gas on condition of vacuum and the method of implementation of simple device.It must experience plasma state that CH4 is stimulated to change into C2H4 by microwave. The temperature of the plasma is so high that it distorts the tube. This paper researches the functions of various equipments under one atmospheric pressure and talks the way of looking for the first-rank position on the tube that there is neither metal vaporized matter nor accumulated carbon, but there is high translated rate and received rate.The work of this paper accelerates the research of changing CH4 into C2H4 by the way of reaction on circular groove guide resonant cavity microwave chemistry reactor. |
