This textis on the basis of research results of existing experts and scholars, from analysing each parameter and influence factor of slurry pipeline transport set out, regarded the ratio of 0.92D' s volume percent solids and 0. 5D' s volume percent solids more than 0.8 which were put forward by Wasp as the key point , turning the ratio of volume percent solids into the ratio of Settling velocity of a particle and friction velocity . A new model is set up to calculate Velocity for Homogeneous flow in Horizontal Pipeline .At last related data have been used to verify the new model And it turn out that calculating results accord with actual results, so the new model can serve as helpful reference for operating and designing in this field; besides, it has an important meaning for us to accurately predict the pipeline' s hydraulic gradient.
