Generally the damage of forging die has four different damage mechanisms: worn, fatigue, transform and hot crack. These damage mechanisms is relevant to the work circumstance and thermodynamics function of the forging die's material.From the actual research in theory and practice, the endurance and capability of forging die lies on its material how to feedback and receive the bad effect. Also it is determined a complex question in improving the work condition and endurance of forging die in the forging process. Aims at forging normal circle cake, it is studied four main physical function parameters (included elastic module, linear expansibility, thermal coefficient and specific heat) and research the relationship between the four parameters and combined stress of forging die in this text. And it will provide the basis about thermodynamics for design for forging die.First of all, we sum up research the actual research and study to the endurance of forging die. And if improve its endurance, we should know all kinds of mechanisms about endurance and forces in the forging die. But it has to be pointed the neglect in actual research and study to the transformation of combined stress with the change of the parameter of the forging die's material with the variety of temperature. Nowadays, there aren't solution is considered from the forging die's material in calculation of theory. And it is had to find the solution to improve the endurance of forging die by the root.Secondly, it is the basic theories for method analyzing to the process of forging by FEA in this text. In the first place, we explain the definitions of elastic module, linear expansibility, thermal coefficient and specific heat. And we mention the relationship between the four parameters and temperature in order to show the relationship between its change and stress. In the second place, with making use of the little distortion elasticity theory and diathermanous theory, the method that we study the heat stress , force stress and combined stress in the forging process is educed. And then we will find out the relationship between the four parameters and combinedstress of the forging die.In the third part of this text, we study the forging process by ANSYS and take forging circle cake as a example. Then we get the heat stress, force stress and combined stress how to change with the change of the four physical function parameters. And according to the analyzed data, it is sum up the response of the combined stress with the change of parameters.The main research conclusion in this text is that the corresponding relationship is shown between combined stress and four physical function parameters. Along with the changing curve of elastic module and linear expansibility rising, the combined stress increase and the increase trend is slow. And along with the changing curve of thermal coefficient and specific heat rising, combined stress reduce and the reduce trend quicken. Otherwise, the sensitivity of combined stress with changing of four physical function parameters from high to low is:Linear Expansibility > Thermal Coefficient > Specific Heat> Elastic module...
