In this paper, the preparation, the structure and the performance of (TiB2+Al2O3) Dual-phase Ceramic Reinforced Copper-based Composites were studied. By the methods of SHS and HP, a kind of particle-reinforced Copper-based Composite with excellent electric conductivity, thermal conductivity, and wear-resistance was prepared from B2O3, TiO2,Al, Cu as the raw materials.The compound powder by SHS was check and measure with the testing method of XRD SEM,etc. The results showed that the surface of (TiB2+Al2O3) ceramic was successfully covered by copper and the combination was good.With regard to the analysis of the phases, microstructure of the bulk material of (TiB2+Al2O3) Dual-phase Ceramic Reinforced Copper-based Composites that prepared, the method of optical microscope, TEM, XRD was used. The results showed that the particle of (TiB2+Al2O3) in agglomeratior was distributed in the phases of the metal; TEM showed that the particle of (TiB2+Al2O3) in 1-2μm was present in the matrix, and the interface between the particles and the matrix is clear. The reinforced particles have a good performance in the reinforcement of matrix.Dry sliding wear behavior of (TiB2+Al2O3) Dual-phase Ceramic Reinforced Copper-based Composites was studied by using the pin-on-disk test rig. The results showed that the particle of ( TiB2+Al2O3) promoted the wear-resistance of the matrix of Cu. With the increase of particle of ceramics in volumn, the wear-resisitance of the material was increasing.Through the research of the process of SHS and HP, the results showed that in preparation, the best ratio in volumn of Cu in original powder is 60wt% and the best volumn of ceramics in the preparation of (TiB2+Al2O3) is 2.0wt%. In the meanwhile, the best sinter temperature is 950℃, pressure is 30Mpa and the time for heat and pressure preservation is 2 hours.The increase of the volumn of ceramics will lead to the increase of wear-resistance and stress with the decrease of the of conductivity and thermalconductivity of copper-based composites. The elevation of sinter tempreture and heat-preservation time will give rise to the conductivity and thermal conductivity of copper-based composites with the decreasing of the stress. All the tempreture that made copper-based composites intenerate are above 900 ℃。...
