In recent years, elastic-viscoelastic composite structures are widely utilized in the reduction of structural vibrations. But existing FE software packages fail to deal with the frequency-dependent mechanical properties of viscoelastic materials. Therefore, in this work new integral finite elements are developed and added to the ANSYS element bank, and an iteration algorithm is hooked up to the ANSYS to calculate the eigenvalues problem of the EVC structures. The results show that this strategy is very pragmatical. Recently, many researchers have done model updating, but most of them are about non-damping or linear damping systems. In this paper, I do some research about model parameters up dating of elastic-viscoelastic composite structures which are nonlinear systems. In addition , this paper discusses the influence of viscoelastic structures with time-dependent poisson's ratio to elastic-viscoelastic composite structures vibration analysis.
